just enough tack
I use this on a side-saddle that someone over-polished at some point in its life. It's nice and shiny, but boy is the seat slippery!! I apply this about every 3 rides. It's a waxy substance, but it doesn't leave my britches feeling sticky. The seat is a light color leather, but I have never seen discoloration on it or my britches from this stuff. You don't need to cover the whole seat, just a couple stripes works fine. I hope in time it works into the leather and displaces the polish, but we'll see. I do believe the seat is less slippery now than before I started using this stuff, even before I add a fresh application.
