The Myler HBT Shank Sweet Iron Low Port Comfort Snaffle (MB04) with Copper Inlay Mouth uses indirect (curb) rein action and is well suited to trail riding as the shorter shank makes grazing easier. The HBT Shank uses the combination of the fixed cheek and fixed rein to apply pressure to the mouth, chin and poll and is designed to be used with a curb strap which attaches to the purchase.

Features of the HBT Shank Comfort Snaffle include:

  • Shank is 5" of round metal slightly curved back
  • Flat-top purchase and a rein ring
  • Mouthpiece has a fixed attachment
  • Entire shank moves independently of the mouthpiece
  • Purchase is slightly angled away from the horse to avoid rubbing
  • Indirect action
  • Mild degree of Leverage
  • MB04 mouthpiece
