- My horse loves it.Review by Jennifer from Longview

However the long cord to hang it broke during the first use on both of the bags I purchased. My horse was unscathed, even though the bag had been pushed around her stall. There is a weak spot on the cord where it is joined together and I would recommend tying a knot in it below where the cord joins to prevent this. I have done so and they have been hanging safely since.
Overall, my horse loves it. It gives her something to do and slows her down so her food lasts longer. She seems to like the 'challnge' of getting the hay out of the small holes.

When I got these hay nets, I was a little concerned that the soft rope (like shoe laces) wouldn't hold up. But they're wonderful! They hold a large amount of hay, and they are soft against the outside of my barn where I hang them from the bars on the windows. I tied a knot in the long hanging rope because the link came apart on one. I loop the hanging rope around my stall bars or window bars, and make a slip knot then chain stitch to hang them.
I have 10 of these nets, so I can fill them for stalls and outside at the same time. Great!
